Galaxy size matters

DARK researcher Sune Toft and his colleagues have published a survey of distant galaxies which has caught the attention of the journal Nature. The survey shows that more loosely packed ones tend to form more stars and that compact galaxies tend to have fewer new stars than do their larger counterparts of comparative mass.
