Anja von der Linden new Brahe Fellow

Anja von der Linden starts her term as as Sophie and Tycho Brahe Fellow, a joint fellowship with Kavli Institute of Particle Astro-physics and Cosmology (KIPAC) at Stanford University. She will spend the next 6 months at KIPAC, and 2.5 years at DARK afterwards with frequent visits to back and forth.

Anja received her PhD from the Max-Planck-Institute for Astrophysics in Garching in 2007, and has since been a post-doc at KIPAC.  She works mainly on clusters of galaxies: how to use them as cosmological probes, disentangling their dark and baryonic matter distributions, and the properties of their galaxy populations.

Anja is  a member of the LSST Dark Energy Science Collaboration and she hopes to become involved in Euclid while at DARK.
