Congratulations Anthea King - Double Degree PhD

Anthea King has completed her PhD - a double degree at the Astrophysics Group, University of Queensland (UQ) and the Dark Cosmology Centre (DARK) at the University of Copenhagen. She worked with with Professor Tamara Davis at UQ and Associate Professors Darach Watson and Marianne Vestergaard at DARK.

Her thesis, "Echo hunting: using reverberation mapping of active galactic nuclei to probe black hole growth and cosmic expansion" was submitted and defended at both institutions.

Anthea will now be starting a postdoctoral position at the University of Melbourne, working with Rachel Webster, looking at the structure of the broad line region in AGN using photoionisation modelling and microlensing.
