Research field and projects
Specialises in deriving constraints on new fundamental physics and dark energy using cosmological observations.
Working with the ESSENCE and SDSS Supernova Survey collaborations on type Ia supernova cosmology.
Working with the WiggleZ collaboration on baryon acoustic oscillations.
Helping design a space telescope to measure dark energy called the SuperNova Acceleration Probe (SNAP).
Also involved in general investigations into theoretical cosmology, e.g. entropy of cosmological event horizons.
