Visit by Liliya Williams

Liliya Williams is visiting DARK from 27 - 29 January 2010. She is here as an opponent for Danuta Paraficz's PhD thesis defense the 29th January.

Liliya is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Astronomy at Univesity of Minnesota, US. Her main research interests are the role of gravity in cosmology (where she uses gravitational lensing and classical dynamics to study the mass distribution in the Universe, from sub-galactic to super-cluster scales), to constrain cosmological parameters, and to elucidate the nature of dark matter and dark energy.
