Visit by Sabine Schindler

Sabine Schindler is visiting DARK from 3-5 March 2011. She is here as an opponent for Desiree D. M. Ferreira's PhD defense Friday 4 March.

Sabine's main research fields are interaction of galaxies and intra-cluster gas, mass determination of galaxy clusters by X-ray observations and gravitational lensing, structure formation on cosmological scales and magnetic fields in galaxy clusters.

She is currently Head of the Institute for Astro- and Particle Physics at the University of Innsbruck in Austria.
