Piero Rosati is visiting DARK on 16-17 December. He is here as an opponent for Allison Man's PhD defense.

Piero Rosati

Piero Rosati optained a PhD in Astronomy titled "X-ray selected samples of galaxy clusters: source detetection algorithms, optical observations and cluster number counts" at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 1995 with supervisors R.Giacconi and C.Norman. Currently, he is a full professor in Astrophysics at University of Ferrara.

  • Galaxy Formation and Evolution
  • X–ray Background/AGN Evolution
  • Gravitational Lensing; Dark Matter
  • High-redshift galaxies.
