Welcome DARK Fellow, Matteo Barnabè
DARK welcomes Matteo Barnabè, who starts at DARK on December 1st 2012 as a independent DARK Fellow, a shared position with the Niels Bohr International Academy.
Matteo got his PhD in 2009 from the University of Groningen, and since then he has been research fellow at KAVLI, Stanford.
Matteo works on combining gravitational lensing and stellar kinematics to investigate in detail the mass and dynamical structure of galaxies beyond the local Universe. He also works in the field of galactic microlensing as a tool to detect free-floating planets.
