Welcome to Tomo Goto
Dr. Tomotsugu Goto starts on Thursday as a DARK Fellow. Tomo was most recently a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Special Researcher at the Institute for Astronomy, University of Hawaii. He finished his PhD at the University of Tokyo in 2003.
His research interests include:
- Revealing cosmic reionization using 6<z<8 type II supernovae.
- Measuring dark energy (expansion
of the Universe) through Integrated Sachs-Wolfe effect with deep and large all sky survey by the PanSTARRS iii.
- Measuring dark matter through 100 times larger galaxy cluster count with PanSTARRS and Subaru.
- Revealing galaxy evolution through first statistical sample of post-starburst galaxies.
Welcome to Copenhagen, Tomo!
