Enrico Ramirez-Ruiz elected fellow of American Physical Society

DNRF Niels Bohr Professor Enrico Ramirez-Ruiz has been elected fellow of the American Physical Society (APS).

DNRF Niels Bohr Professor Enrico Ramirez-Ruiz has been elected fellow of the American Physical Society (APS) for his outstanding contributions to physics. APS acknowledges his work on theoretical understanding of transient astrophysical phenomena and his work supporting promotion and retention of women and underrepresented minorities in science.

Fellowship is a distinct honor signifying recognition by one's professional peers. The criterion for election is exceptional contributions to the physics enterprise; e.g., outstanding physics research, important applications of physics, leadership in or service to physics, or significant contributions to physics education.
