My work is on theoretical astroparticle physics. One of my main interests is the high-energy astrophysical neutrinos discovered by IceCube. Coming from a particle-physics background, I explore fundamental particle physics and Beyond the Standard Model physics in high-energy neutrinos. I am also interested in the connection between these neutrinos and ultra-high-energy cosmic rays. Over the past years, we have been improving the neutrino and cosmic-ray predictions from gamma-ray bursts.
