Visit by Chris Fassnacht

Chris Fassnacht is visiting DARK from 27 - 29 January 2010. He is here as an opponent for Danuta Paraficz's PhD defense the 29th January.

Chris is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Physics at University of California. His main research interests are. Measurement of cosmological parameters with gravitational lenses, in particular the Hubble Constant, searches for strong lenses, the investigation of substructure associated with moderate-redshift galaxies, further investigations of the properties of known lens systems, investigation of galaxy groups associated with gravitational lenses and moderate-redshift galaxy groups in general.
