Visit by Pete Roming

Pete Roming is visiting DARK Thursday 1 July 2010. The aim of his visit is to discuss a new JANUS proposal for the upcoming NASA "super-SMEX" call with a likely deadline at the end of the year. In particular, we will discuss possible DARK contributions to JANUS.

Pete is currently a Senior Research Associate at Penn State University. He has research interests in the areas of astronomical ground- & space-based instrumentation, gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), supernovae (SNe), observational cosmology, and the dynamics of the nuclear region of nearby active galaxies
