Ariel Goobar is visiting DARK 30 October. He is here to participate in the PhD assessment committee of Li Xue.

Ariel Goobar is a professor at the Department of Physics, Stockholm University, and works at the Oskar Klein Centre for Cosmoparticle Physics which is a joint research venture between Stockholm University and KTH The Royal Institute of Technology, with funding from the Swedish Research Council. His research entails distance measurements using supernova type Ia as a way to probe dark energy.
