Visit by Kartik Sheth

Kartik Sheth is visiting DARK from 12-19 October 2014. He is here to collaborate on on-going research on high redshift galaxies using HST and ALMA data.

He will also share his latest results on high redshift disk assembly using COSMOS data and share the results and information on the S4G and S4G+ Legacy surveys from Spitzer.

Kartik is currently working at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NTAO). His main research interests are in the field of galaxy evolution. Among other things he studies the mass assembly and development of galactic structures by studying the detailed stellar and gas mass distribution and kinematics, especially in barred spiral galaxies at low and intermediate redshifts.
