Visit by Daniel Perley

Future DARK Fellow Daniel Perley is visiting from 22 February to 7 March 2015. He is here to collaborate with DARKers and prepare his work as a postdoc at DARK and his move to Copenhagen.

Daniel achieved his Master in 2006 at the University of California, Berkeley, where he also achieved his PhD titled "The Diverse Environments of Gamma-Ray Bursts" in 2011. He is currently working as a Senior Postdoctoral Scholar at Caltech Department of Astronomy.

Daniel's research interests are: Gamma-ray bursts and relativistic transients, Core-collapse supernovae, Interstellar dust
High-redshift galaxy evolution and cosmology and Astronomical software development.
