Title: "Haze in Singapore – Annual Attribution of Biomass Burning in South East Asia"
Abstract: An extreme haze episode in Singapore in 2013 triggered a wide interest for a deeper understanding of biomass burning related air pollution events in Singapore. Regional differences are, in spite of the size of Singapore, significant and may help explain the cause of these extreme pollution episodes. Using an atmospheric dispersion model, the driving mechanisms behind some of the major haze episodes in Singapore in the period from 2012 to 2015 are studied and the source regions with largest influence on the air quality in Singapore are identified."
