Welcome to Moire Prescott!
Welcome to new postdoctoral DARK Fellow, Moire Prescott, who starts her position 1 February 2013. Moire finished her PhD in 2009 from the University of Arizona, where she worked with Dr. Arjun Dey on the space density, environments and physical properties of large Lyman-Alpha Nebulae.
Since Moire finished her PhD she has been working as a TABASGO Prize Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
In addition to Lyman-Alpha nebulae, Moire's main research areas are physical conditions and kinematics of gas within the cosmic web and Lyman-Alpha emission at intermediate- and high-redshift.
